HELP!!!

As a newbie starting out in this hobby I have decided I am extremely grateful for digital cameras with memory cards that hold upwards of 500 pictures. I tend to stand in one place and snap off as many shots as I can hoping one of them will look good enough to print or post. Usually I am fortunate to get one decent shot. Today, I found a gorgeous spot and ended up getting a few decent shots. Now I need your help deciding which photo is the best. Look at the pictures below and then answer the poll I've placed on the right side of my blog. Thanks for your help!

#1

#2

#3

***Update***

The polls have closed and I would like to thank everyone for participating. By an overwhelming majority photo #2 was selected as the reader favorite.

Francis Scott Key Bridge

I woke up extra early this morning to head out to see the sun rise on the Francis Scott Key Bridge heading into Georgetown. Here are a couple of my favorite shots from the trip.

The Key bridge just as the sun was starting to rise

This is a view of the insides of the bridge, it has this sort of surrealistic feeling to me

The Kennedy Center as seen from the bridge

Boats racked for the winter, waiting for the ice to melt off the river

Snow Storm

Here are a few shots I snapped tonight of the snow storm here in D.C. as I laughed at everyone else stuck in traffic. I also learned it's hard to take good pictures in a dark snow storm.

The mix of rain and snow was fun to look at through my bedroom window

The light on the trees gave them an eerie glow in my camera's black and white settings

The snow was so thick you couldn't see across the building across the street from our apartment

Here's a cute one my wife took of our son. He loves the snow, probably because it makes everything look so much different than what he is used to.

Fountain just below Capitol Building

I'm not exactly sure the name of this fountain, but I think it's pretty cool. It's just below the Capitol on 1st Street as you head out onto the mall. I think it might be called the "Flamingo Fountain" but I'm not exactly sure, there's a lot of fountains in DC with a lot of different names.

Editing Software

The other day I won a gift card to Amazon for filling out an online survey. I decided to spend some of that money on an entry level photo editing program. The program came today and I was able to try a couple of the quick edits. Here are a few samples as I try to figure out the program.
